Services Provided

Pregnant women, men, and healthcare professionals contact our free service at (California only) and ask questions regarding exposures during their pregnancy. Details about the pregnancy are recorded on a standardized form which allows for documentation of the type, time, and extent of exposure as well as pregnancy and occupational histories. After reviewing the data available from a variety of resources, the information is discussed with the caller, paying particular attention to the specifics of the case. Letters summarizing the counseling are routinely offered to the pregnant woman or the father.
