- Control your weight
- Stop smoking
- Quit drinking alcohol or reduce significantly
- Get a physical and get checked for diabetes, HIV and STDs
- Get up to date on vaccines
- Assess potential risks from pets
- Assess potential risks from foodborne illnesses
