Community and Outreach ServicesCommunity education is an important component of the CTIS mission. Our Community Outreach Services increase awareness and understanding of the potential risk medications, recreational drugs and other environmental agents could have on an unborn baby. Community Education and Outreach includes participation in health fairs, medical conferences and community events. Additionally, CTIS Teratogen Information Specialists provide in-services on teratogens at drug treatment centers, medical offices, hospitals, schools, colleges and universities.
